Hobo High Fives

I found out Scout Camp got cancelled at the last minute – on hour before The Boy was supposed to leave. No biggie, but we were in charge of getting the food, which I had bought the day before.

Went home – sat on the couch and relaxed. It was great. The Girl guilt-ed me into playing a board game with her. I really didn’t want to, but agreed anyway. She picked Sponge Bob Life.

When The Boy saw what we were doing he wanted to join in as well. The Mike joined us. We all sat on the family room floor and played the game. The Boy, Girl and Mike could not hold onto their money to save their lives. It was hilarious. The Boy invented Hobo high-fives. The three of them high-fived each other every time they lost what little money they made. It was fun – we hadn’t played any board games since we arrived in Texas. The Boy wanted to play another but I couldn’t – he was so sad when I told him we would have to wait until the next day.
