Bad Monday

First day back after 4 days off. Last Thursday I had an outpatient procedure. Left my back very sore. The kids have been great. They are loving helping me off the couch and out of the car.

We managed to get out to the movies on Saturday and Sunday. I was able to sit through them both without being in too much pain. The pills help. I feel ok until they wear off.

I didn’t sleep well last night- mostly the stress of coming into work and wondering how I would go. I was able to drive ok – it hurt getting I and out of the car, but I didn’t take any pain pills until I got to work. I was worried that they would make me drowsy for the drive. I was drowsy anyway because of the lack of sleep. Now that I am here and the pills have kicked in I don’t’ feel too bad – except I am stuck her ear work. All I want to do is go home and crawl back into bed.

Mike started a new job today – he is in training until 5pm. I miss being able to talk to him whenever I want. I got a text from him though, so he still loves me!
