Sea World part 3

The penguin encounter was very interesting – once you got over the smell. You got used to it after awhile. It was a lot of standing around and the penguin looked like he really didn’t want to be there. He kept trying to jump into buddy’s lap and snuggle. It was cute.

We all got to pet him- again not was you would expect. The penguins have a very thick layer of feathers to keep them warm and keep the water out, but the individual feathers are very soft.

We got to go inside the habitat and have a look – we couldn’t walk around though because it was too slippery. A few penguins came over and checked us out.

It was a cool way to end the day.
