Dirve Home Day 4: Tucson - Flagstaff

It was 46 C when we started out at 10 am! Too hot. We drove up towards Flagstaff. We stopped to check out Montezuma’s Castle – a cliff dweller residence. It was only a short trail, so we didn’t melt too bad. It was still 40 C when we stopped to check it out.

Next we followed signs to Oak Creek Canyon. It took us off the highway on a scenic route. It was so amazing. We feel in love with Sedona and we really what to come back and check it out. The red rocks were beautiful and the shops and art galleries looked amazing.

We finally got into Flagstaff and found out hotel. We kicked back and went for a swim in the pool. It had cooled down and it felt great to walk outside and not roast. There was even a cool breeze.
