I have no idea how I stumbled across the site, but reading “Because I said So” is part of my daily routine. From there I was ‘introduced’ to King Julian and the rest of the cancer kids.

Sharing their journey makes me a better mom. I am more patient and understanding of my own kids and I try not to take any of it for granted, even the stupid stuff.

Since meeting Julian, I have seen Julian, John Eric, Cody (same age as The Boy) and Sara all earn their angel wings.

It’s not right that children have to go through this, or that their parents have to watch, helpless.

I hope little Coleman is going to be ok.

I get to go home and give my kids an extra hug tonight and be thankful when they are bugging me for another snack or want hot chocolate or have the tv up a little too loud.
